I slid and fell two februarys ago, thought i just rolled my ankle. Well 5 months later, went to ER and it was a lisfranc. Having my Third surgery on it to fuse two toe joints. They tried pins and plates the first time. Then took most of them out the second time because they broke 6 months later. Now my foot is collapsing. It sucks!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds rotten Danelle, poor you ! Have they looked into your bone density at all ? I had to take Alendronic Acid in the end to help my bones become dense enough for me to begin weight bearing. I did discuss having the whole of my mid foot fused as a plan B in case of further setbacks. I hope it gets better for you soon xx
